Yes, most extended health plans cover massage treatment. Please check with your insurance provider how much is covered per treatment and annually and also whether a referral from a doctor is required.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so that you can complete our patient intake form and review treatments with your therapist. If you’d like us to set up direct billing, your first appointment will need to occur during business hours Monday-Friday so that we can contact your insurance provider.
Reservations are required for all treatments; please provide 24 hours notice for all cancellations or changes made to your appointment.
We offer a range of treatment durations, but an average full-body massage treatment that focuses on one or two problem areas lasts approximately one hour. Releasing tension takes time, complete full-body therapeutic treatment often requires multiple visits.
Most people feel very relaxed, especially when they start to move and realize those long term aches and tension have been relieved. After a deeper massage you might feel some muscle soreness, similar to a the feeling after a workout.
